Regular health screenings are important for women of all ages. Comfort Health Center for Women offers a variety of screening options to evaluate your overall health. 

Fit 4 You Screening

Comfort Health Center for Women offers women a better way manage busy schedules with a convenient, all-in-one health assessment. The Fit 4 You Experience offers four different health screenings during a single appointment. This health assessment includes:

1. Heart and Stroke Risk Assessment

  • Cholesterol profile
  • 10-year risk calculation
  • Diabetes screen
  • Metabolic syndrome screen
  • Discussion about additional health screenings

2. Cancer Screening

  • Breast exam and mammogram
  • Screening skin exam
  • Pelvic exam and Pap smear with HPV testing per current guidelines
  • Stool cards or colonoscopy, as indicated
  • Lung screening

3. Bone Health Evaluation

  • Fracture risk assessment
  • Bone density/DEXA (if indicated)
  • Nutritional and physical activity needs review

4. Individualized Preventive Advice:

  • Immunizations
  • Vitamins
  • Other age-appropriate screenings and recommendations

Cost
We will bill your insurance company for the Fit 4 You screening; however, coverage for this screening option is determined by the contract between you, your employer and your insurance provider. Please contact your insurance provider with any questions you may have regarding your particular coverage. Your co-payment is due at the time of service.

Midlife Health Assessment

Mercy Comfort Health Center for Women offers a unique midlife health assessment performed by North American Menopause Society (NAMS)-certified physicians. This evaluation is designed to provide support and specialized information about pre-menopause, peri-menopause and menopause symptoms*, including:

  • Night sweats, hot flashes and flushes
  • Genital and pelvic pain
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Incontinence - urinary and fecal
  • Sleep concerns
  • Mood changes, anxiety and depression
  • Metabolic syndrome and weight management
  • Cognitive concerns
  • Bone health

Following the Midlife Health Assessment, women may be referred to other specialty women’s health providers for additional treatment for conditions related to pelvic pain, incontinence, sleep disorders and anxiety.

*These issues are common, but not exclusive, to menopausal women.  This visit is to provide education and treatment for woman of all ages with these conditions in order to enhance their quality of life. 

Cost
