Mercy North Endoscopy
Your endoscopy procedure has been scheduled at Mercy North Endoscopy, 800 E. First St., Ste. 1000, in Ankeny.
You may receive a phone call prior to your procedure for pre-registration and to review your health history. If you do receive a call, feel free to ask any questions you may have about your upcoming procedure and recovery. When you arrive for your appointment please remember to bring:
- Insurance card(s)
- Photo ID
- Complete list of all medications you are currently taking. This includes nonprescription medication such as ibuprofen.
DO NOT bring any valuables or jewelry to your appointment.
When you check in, you MUST have someone with you who can drive you home after your procedure. This person should also plan to be responsible for your care following your procedure. You WILL NOT be allowed to drive home after your procedure and you WILL NOT be able to take a taxi instead of having a driver unless you are accompanied by another adult.

Female patients between the ages of menarche and menopause will be required to provide a urine specimen for a urine pregnancy test at the time of admission.
Mercy North is located at 800 E. First St. in Ankeny.
