MCL is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunology (ASHI).  The CAP accreditation is recognized by both the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
