Samuel Maurice, M.D., FACS, FAAP
Dr. Maurice is the medical director of the Center for Craniofacial & Children’s Reconstructive Surgery at Mercy Medical Center. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a fellowship-trained craniofacial surgeon. After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Maurice completed a residency in General Surgery, followed by fellowship training in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery.
He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society of Craniofacial Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate Association, and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has also authored multiple journal articles and book chapters on various plastic surgery and craniofacial surgery topics.
He loves working with children and with their families. He is committed to providing the highest quality of care for his patients—with attention to safety and in an environment that is comfortable for children.
Dr. Maurice and his wife have three sons. When not working, he enjoys sports, spending time with his family, being active in his Church community, and performing mission work.
