Mercy physicians, staff and patients are regularly featured in Des Moines’ premier life and home magazine. Welcome Home Magazine – a publication that comes out every six weeks and includes a segment on WHO Radio 1040 AM every Saturday morning at 11 a.m. – will now include a 16-page feature spread entitled Health Matters. This section, which is entirely focused on Mercy services and programs, is designed to provide central Iowans with the latest information about health, wellness, and chronic disease prevention and management.
Every issue of Health Matters is filled with articles about new discoveries in medicine and advances in treatment; compelling human-interest stories featuring Mercy patients and physicians; and information about upcoming Mercy-sponsored activities and community outreach efforts in central Iowa. Focusing on a range of health topics, Health Matters includes something of interest for everyone, and is intended to give readers a better feel for the depth and breadth of programs and services Mercy offers.
