Help raise cancer awareness and showcase downtown trails and entertainment opportunities at the 2nd Annual LiveStrong ride on May 11.   This 4.5 mile leisure ride will start at Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines, continue on through the Meredith trail and end at Principal Park to take in the afternoon Iowa Cubs game. 

More avid bikers can start the day earlier and ride 46 miles roundtrip to Martensdale or 23 miles to Cumming on the Great Western Trail.  Sag Stops will be provided along the way.
