Mercy Behavioral Health provides inpatient and outpatient treatment options for children and adolescents. Our skilled staff will work with you to determine the most effective treatment option.

• Inpatient: Provides an intensive therapeutic treatment and diagnosis in a 8-bed secure environment. Services are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Day Treatment: Provides a highly structured, therapeutic setting for children/adolescents who can be maintained in their home environment with therapeutic services offered during daytime hours. Des Moines Public Schools offer a specialized school curriculum during this program.
• Substance Abuse: During the evaluation process, substance use/abuse problems may be identified. Treatment is then coordinated with Mercy First Step.
