Bishop Drumm Care Center
Located on a beautifully landscaped 15-acre campus, the Care Center offers high-quality care with a Christian approach. Open to people of all faiths, the staff cares for the whole person–mind, body and spirit. The continuing presence of the Sisters of Mercy provides that special quality of Christian love and understanding that has endured at Bishop Drumm since 1939.
Bishop Drumm Care Center is a licensed skilled nursing facility offering quality care to 150 residents with special attention to each individual's personal and health care needs. Residents in the facility generally require some type of nursing care due to illness, disease, physical or intellectual infirmity. Licensed personnel are on duty 24-hours a day to provide for the various needs of the residents.
As a Medicare certified facility, our skilled nursing staff and experienced nursing professionals can provide expanded medical care to meet each residents needs. A wide variety of personalized programs and services are also offered:

- Margery Court Alzheimer Care Unit
- Daily mass and special interfaith services
- Bible study and private counseling
- Schildberg Physical Therapy Room provides residents with physical therapy needs.
- Barber/beauty salon
- Pet therapy
- Holiday meals and birthday parties
The Bishop Drumm Care Center was recognized in 2002 with the Governor’s Award for Quality Care in Health Care Facilities and received two consecutive perfect annual surveys from the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals in 2003 and 2004.
