No refrigeration required

  • Drizzle olive oil onto freshly popped popcorn
  • Top chocolate pudding with chopped pistachios
  • Fruit – bananas, berries, melons, fruit cocktail, canned peaches
  • Applesauce
  • Jello with fruit in it and whipped topping
  • Trail mix with almonds, sunflower nuts, dried fruits, cereal, chocolate chips, pretzels
  • Toasted waffle with peanut butter and honey
  • ½ sandwich
  • Protein bar
  • Mini muffins
  • Small baked potato with your favorite toppings
    • Consider Greek yogurt instead of sour cream & adding beans for protein
  • Multi-grain tortilla chips with bean dip
  • Nutty Pretzel Wands
    • Spread peanut butter on the top few inches of pretzel rods. Roll in chopped peanuts and/or dried fruit.
  • Edamame – steam in a steamer for 4-5 minutes and add salt
  • Spiced chickpeas ‘nuts’
    • Cook a 15-ounce can drained chickpeas in an ovenproof skillet with 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 teaspoon each cumin and smoked paprika, 2 minutes. Season with salt, then bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees F.

  • Hard-boiled egg or deviled egg
  • Cottage cheese with peaches or pineapple
  • Sprinkle nuts, seeds, or dried fruits into yogurt
  • Yogurt parfait – layer your favorite fruits, yogurt, granola

  • Use hummus as a dip for your favorite vegetables
  • Angel food cake with berries and ice cream
  • Tortilla roll-ups – spread a thin layer of guacamole/cream cheese/mayo onto a whole wheat tortilla, layer 2 slices of deli turkey, and roll
  • Whole wheat crackers with egg salad, tuna salad, or chicken salad
  • Crackers with cheese or peanut butter
  • Graham crackers and milk
  • Mini pizza: ½ English muffin or bagel with cheese and tomato sauce
  • Make ½ quesadilla with cheese, salsa, guacamole, and black beans
