A Special Group of People

People of all ages, faiths and backgrounds volunteer at Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines and its affiliates. Despite their diversity, these men and women have one thing in common – a selfless desire to give back to their community and help others.

Volunteers are the Servant Leaders who help the physicians and staff at Mercy honor the legacy of the Sisters of Mercy and provide high quality, compassionate care to patients and their loved ones.
