Trim Kids

The Trim Kids program is designed to help overweight children and their families by providing information on nutrition, exercise and behavior modification techniques. The programs are a collaborative effort of the Mercy Children’s Center, Des Moines Public Schools, YMCA and ISU Extension. The 12-week programs are offered during the school year at YMCA locations in the Des Moines metro area.
