Trim Kids
The Trim Kids program is designed to help overweight children and their families by providing information on nutrition, exercise and behavior modification techniques. The programs are a collaborative effort of Mercy Children’s Center, YMCA of Greater Des Moines, Des Moines Public Schools, ISU Extension and United Healthcare. The 12-week programs are offered during the school year at YMCA locations in the Des Moines metro area.
