This unit provides care for children hospitalized due to trauma injuries, surgery and heart procedures. The eight-bed unit is staffed by two full-time pediatric intensivists and nurses experienced in pediatric critical care. In addition, respiratory therapists, occupational and physical therapists, a child life specialist and a social worker specialize in intensive and compassionate care for pediatric patients.

The unit features all private rooms and sleeping accommodations for parents.
