Mercy Clinics Ear, Nose and Throat accepts most insurance plans. Please refer to your insurance provider directory for a complete list of participating physicians and verify that your insurance plan is accepted when calling to schedule an appointment. If your insurance is a co-payment plan or one in which our clinic does not participate, we ask that you pay at the time of service. If your insurance plan requires you to have a referral, please obtain this referral from your primary care physician prior to your scheduled appointment.
If you have questions about your bill, please contact a patient account representative at (515) 643-2519.
Being diagnosed with hearing loss and finding out you need to wear hearing aids can be overwhelming. We know you are more likely to wear your hearing aids when they fit and work well, which is why our staff will help you choose hearing aids that work best for you.
Mercy offers the latest in digital hearing aid technology from a variety of manufacturers. Hearing aids are available in many different styles and colors.
A 30-day evaluation period is standard. During this time, you may return or exchange the hearing aid(s). The purchase price of the hearing aids is refundable with the exception of a restocking fee. Prices vary with the wide range of technology available.
Most major insurance companies do not provide hearing aid benefits. However, we recommend contacting your insurance company to determine what benefits you may have.
A standard warranty is included with the purchase of your hearing aids. This warranty covers audiologic office visits, repairs, and loss/damage insurance.
