Breast Cancer Symposium Announced

Mercy Cancer Center and Katzmann Breast Center at Mercy invite you to attend the “8th Annual Breast Cancer Symposium: Through the Generations” at the West Des Moines Marriott on Monday, April 12, 2010.
This one-day seminar is designed to explore current treatments and issues involving breast cancer. All health care professionals and individuals interested in the care and treatment of patients following a diagnosis of breast cancer are invited to attend. Breast cancer survivors are particularly encouraged to attend this informational program.
Speakers for the day-long event include Charles D. Goldman, MD, surgeon with Mercy Surgical Affiliates; Thomas A. Mallisee, MD, radiologist with Mercy Medical Center; Crystal Nord, RD, LD, oncology dietitian with Mercy Cancer Center; Barb Wisnieski, RD,LD, oncology dietitian with Mercy Cancer Center; Angela Sandre, DO, with Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates; and Wendy Harpham, MD, physician, best-selling author and long-term cancer survivor.
