Combat Hunger - November 4 - 15, 2013
Part of Mercy’s mission is to deliver compassion in all that we do. By supporting the Food Bank of Iowa, and through them the hungry and needy Iowans in the harshest months of the year, we are actively honoring this Core Value.
2013 marks Mercy’s tenth year participating in Combat Hunger, which has been occurring annually since 1991. In 2012 Mercy raised 9,645 pounds of food; our goal for 2013 is 10,000 pounds.
