March is Deep-Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Awareness Month. To help the public learn more about DVT and how it can be prevented, the Mercy Heart Hospital is offering a free lunch and learn on Wednesday, March 26.

Dr. Steven Berry from Chest, Infectious Diseases and Critical Care Associates will be the guest speaker, explaining DVT, who's at risk and how it can be prevented. A free sack lunch is provided. The event is open to all Mercy employees, patients and visitors. Lunch starts at 11:30, with the speaker starting at 12 p.m.
