Convenient medical care: At home, work or on-the-go, Mobile Care connects you with a doctor on your schedule, when it’s convenient for you. Doctors are available day and night to diagnose and treat a variety of non-emergency medical conditions, including:
- Arthritic pain
- Cold and flu
- Insect bite
- Nose bleed
- Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
- Respiratory Infection
- Sinus congestion
- Skin Inflammation
- Sore throat
- Sprains and Strains
- Tooth ache
- Urinary Tract Infection
Experience you can trust: Mobile Care is provided by a team of doctors who are U.S. board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine or pediatrics. These doctors are U.S. residents, licensed in Iowa and average 20 years of practice experience.
Secure access: Your visit with a Mobile Care doctor is conducted using a secure video connection from a computer or mobile device. For your convenience, you can access this service by clicking the "start your visit" button below. You can also can download the mobile app by searching Mercy Health Network in the Google Play or App Stores.
Without the wait: Your request for a visit with a Mobile Care doctor will be fulfilled as quickly as possible, with most patients receiving a call back within 10 to 15 minutes.
Prescriptions: If your condition requires prescription medication as part of the treatment plan, your Mobile Care doctor will send your prescription directly to your pharmacy of choice.
Cost: The fee for accessing Mobile Care is $49 per visit. Mobile Care does not bill for services through your insurance company. Payments can be made via debit, credit or Health Savings Account card.
Visit record: It is important to us to provide a record of your Mobile Care visit with your primary care provider. With your consent, a summary of or your visit will be shared with the primary care provider you listed when you set up your account.
Set up an account: During the registration process, you will select a username and password and enter your contact information. You’ll also be asked to provide the name of your primary care provider and list an emergency contact.
Enter your medical history: All patients need to provide a brief medical history, including the names of medications you are currently taking, a list of any known allergies and information about existing medical conditions.
Provide visit details: Before you talk to the doctor, you’ll be asked to select the primary reason for your visit from a list of various medical conditions. You can also upload photos, if needed. After you consent to treatment and confirm the details of your visit request, you’ll enter the virtual exam room.
