What's Completed - Ruan Neuroscience Center
The Ruan Neuroscience Center at Mercy on Level A offers comprehensive neurological care to patients throughout Iowa and the Midwest. Patients receive treatment and education for stroke, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, headaches and other neurological disorders. State-of-the-art diagnostic testing is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring prompt diagnosis and immediate treatment, if necessary.
The clinic’s medical team is comprised of board-certified neurologists, a certified nursing staff, neuropsychologists, rehabilitation specialists and a neuroscience case manager who educates newly diagnosed patients about their disease and treatment options.
The Research Center gives patients the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research protocols, providing them with additional options for immediate and preventive care.
The Mercy Ruan Medical Imaging Center on Level B offers state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment, including 3 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanning.
Level B also will include the multi-disciplinary Mercy Spine Center in the future.
