Mercy honors local providers during EMS Week

To celebrate National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week (May 17-23), Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines hosted a luncheon for local EMS providers on Tuesday, May 20. At the event, Mercy presented awards to 13 providers who were nominated by their peers for going above and beyond in their profession. More than 120 EMS providers attended the event.
Mercy was proud to honor the following EMS providers who have demonstrated above and beyond service during the past year:

National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week is an event developed by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) to educate the public about EMS, injury prevention and what to do in case of an emergency.
