Mercy welcomes new medical director of Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Services

Sasha Khosravi, D.O., recently joined Mercy Behavioral Health as a pediatric psychiatric hospitalist and the medical director of Mercy Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Services. He is board-certified in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine.
Dr. Khosravi is a graduate of Des Moines University, where he currently serves as an assistant professor. He completed his general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital through Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. Khosravi also serves as a mental health consultant for Des Moines Public Schools, where he works with staff at Lincoln and East High Schools to develop therapeutic classrooms and ensure students with mental health impairments graduate from high school. Before joining the Mercy Family, Dr. Khosravi was in private practice in Des Moines.
