(Des Moines) – Mercy College of Health Sciences, 928 6th Avenue, Des
Moines, Iowa has
received continuing accreditation through the 2013-14
academic year from the Higher Learning
Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools

review process in
higher education is rigorous, yet provides an opportunity for the entire
campus community to
engage in this important institutional evaluation. With its focus on quality
student learning
outcomes, we are pleased with HLC’s recognition of our strong commitment
to this endeavor. In
addition to the HLC confirmation, the College continues to maintain accreditations

together, the College programs are currently accredited by nine different
organizations.”
The College will also be seeking accreditation for the new polysomnographic technology program and the proposed physical therapist assistant degree. Mercy College of Health Sciences is the only Catholic college in Central Iowa and is the largest of the health science colleges in the state with a fall 2007 enrollment of 680 full and parttime students.
