Neurological Treatment

Val and PatientYou may need to see a neurologist if you have been examined by a physician and told that your symptoms are neurological in nature.

Your primary care physician will consult a neurologist and, if appropriate, an appointment with a neurologist will be scheduled for you. More specific tests may be ordered as needed.

Once all the tests are reviewed, you and the neurologist will plan the treatment and you will return to your primary care physician for continued care. You may need to see the neurologist periodically for effective treatment of a neurological issue.

Care for our patients is very individualized and done from a team approach. Your neurologist works as the team leader to provide the very latest in neurological care. Other members of your team may include:
