- Designed to provide care for low-risk pregnancies at term (at 37 weeks of pregnancy or greater)—including labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care
- One suite for your entire stay
- Nurses who are trained in all phases of the birthing process
- Nurse practitioner present during each delivery to care for baby
- Transfer to Mercy’s Women & Infants’ Center located on Mercy's Central Campus will be arranged in the unlikely event that you or your baby experience complications
- Newborn nursery available 24-hours a day

Mercy Women & Infants' Center
East Tower, Mercy Central Campus

- Designed to provide care for both low- and high-risk pregnancies, deliveries, postpartum and newborn care
- Provides care for deliveries before 37 weeks of pregnancy
- Dedicated Maternity Triage and Treatment Unit for pregnant women experiencing complications and/or early labor
- Neonatalogist support during delivery available
- A 44-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is available
- Nurses trained for specific areas of the birthing process—labor and delivery and post-partum
- Labor and delivery occur in Birthing Unit; post-partum/recovery occurs in Mother/Baby Unit
- Newborn nursery available 24-hours a day
