The Mercy Ambulatory Infusion Center provides patients with a safe and comfortable outpatient setting to receive infusion therapy. Ambulatory services allow you to receive the services you need without hospitalization, restrictions on your activity or home IV therapy. As an outpatient service, Medicare covers Mercy Ambulatory Infusion Center where other options for IV therapy may not be covered.
Your primary care physician can order your therapy or consult one of our physicians to provide the care you need. Specially trained registered nurses will administer your infusion therapy. This service benefits you by decreasing the length of your inpatient stay in the hospital or may help avoid it entirely. It also allows you to maintain your normal routine with appointments available at times convenient for you.
