Mercy Wound Treatment Center

The Mercy Wound Treatment Center is designed to treat individuals with chronic wounds that have not responded to traditional treatment. Nearly five million Americans suffer from non-healing wounds due to diabetes, pressure ulcers, circulatory problems, burns or injury. Unlike normal wounds, chronic or traumatic open wounds show no significant signs of healing over a period of several weeks.

At the Mercy Wound Treatment Center, patients have access to wound treatment specialists who offer comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment for slow-healing wounds and sores. The center includes a comprehensive staff—including certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses, physicians, podiatrists, diabetes professionals, physical and occupational therapists, dieticians and hyperbaric medicine specialists.

Additionally, the center is equipped with the latest technological advancements that can accelerate the healing process, reduce the risk for infection and ultimately help patients avoid hospitalization.
