What to Expect

Your wound will be thoroughly assessed during your first visit and you may undergo tests to diagnose the cause of your wounds. Your team of wound treatment specialists will study the test results and develop a treatment plan. Then, as your treatment progresses, the team will continue to assess your wounds and adjust your plan as needed.

Throughout your treatment, we work closely with your family physician. After your initial visit, your physician will receive a report outlining the diagnosis and your planned treatment. Team members will then send periodic reports so your physician is aware of your progress.
