Commonly Treated Wounds

At the Mercy Wound Treatment Center, our specialists see individuals who have a variety of chronic wounds. Most of these include:

  • Skin ulcers that are usually caused by inadequate blood flow or nerve problems typically caused by diabetes
  • Pressure sores resulting from too much pressure on the skin
  • Traumatic crush injuries
  • Sores that develop on arms and legs because blood flow is inadequate
  • Wounds that are caused by incisions from surgery that do not heal properly
  • Skin ulcers or sores that develop from other health complications
  • Wounds that develop over tissue that has previously received radiation treatment

The Mercy Wound Treatment Center is located on the first floor of Mercy Medical Center. Access the center from the hospital’s west entrance on Fifth Street. Valet parking is available Monday through Friday or you may park in the west parking ramp and walk across the skywalk. Follow the signs to our center.


Ambulatory Infusion Center

Scheduled appointments are available to assist you in maintaining your daily schedule as close as possible.

Mercy Hyperbaric Medicine Unit
