Our audiologists are experts in diagnosis, treating and managing hearing loss

Audiology & Hearing Aid Services

MercyOne audiologists are experts in diagnosing, treating and managing hearing loss. Through specialized, auditory assessments and an understanding of patient health history, they are able to determine a personalized care plan to ensure your needs are met.

The first step in treating hearing problems is performing a hearing evaluation by an audiologist.

Hearing impairments affect people of all ages and can be difficult for a person to recognize. Calibrated equipment is utilized in a sound-treated room to obtain accurate results concerning hearing loss.

If a medically treatable hearing loss complication is found, a physician will provide a diagnosis and plan to treat the hearing loss.

Hearing Aids

The audiologists at MercyOne offer the latest in digital hearing aid technology from a variety of manufacturers. Hearing aids are available in a number of styles and colors, and are compatible with Bluetooth technology included with most cell phones. Rechargeable options are available. MercyOne carries several hearing care brands, including Oticon, Resound, Phonak, Signia, and Siemens.

Patient Forms

New patients should bring the following items to their first visit: Any X-rays, CTs or MRIs that relate to your condition, complete list of medications, and any other information that may be of assistance during your visit.

Fees, Insurance, Payment

Fees for office visits vary, depending on the scope of care and the time required for evaluation and treatment. Laboratory and audiology services are additional charges not included in the office visit fee. If you have questions about your bill, please call 515-643-2519.
